Dental Implant Restorations in Noblesville, IN
If you’re dealing with a missing tooth, you have options for restoring your smile. At Serenity Creek Dental Care, we provide dental implant restorations, a comprehensive solution that replaces your missing tooth from root to crown. We offer a seamless, well-coordinated treatment experience, beginning with an initial consultation to determine your eligibility for dental implants right through to the placement of your final crown.
What Are Dental Implant Restorations?
Dental implant restorations consist of three main components: the implant body, the abutment, and the crown. The implant body acts as the tooth’s new root and is placed by an oral surgeon. Once healed and the implant has integrated with your bone—usually within 3 to 6 months—you’ll return to our practice for the following steps: placing the abutment and the crown.
Who is a Good Candidate for Dental Implants?
Most patients missing one or multiple teeth are suitable candidates for dental implants. However, factors like smoking or systemic diseases, like diabetes, could affect healing and long-term implant success. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your medical history and lifestyle to ensure you’re a good fit for this treatment option.

How Do We Restore a Dental Implant?
After confirming that the implant has successfully integrated with your bone, we begin the restoration process. During your first appointment, the healing cap that protected your implant is removed, and digital scans are taken of your implant and your mouth. These scans are then sent to our dental lab, where your individualized abutment and crown are created. Once these are ready, which usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks, you’ll return for a second appointment to have them fitted. After any necessary adjustments, you’ll leave our office with a fully functional, natural-looking tooth.
Dental Implant Healing Process
Due to the various healing stages involved, the entire process can span 9 to 12 months, from the tooth extraction to the completed implant. For teeth visible when you smile, we can provide a temporary device called a dental flipper that you can wear during the healing process, ensuring that your smile remains as natural as possible throughout your treatment.
How Long Do Dental Implants Last?
With proper cleaning and regular six-month check-ups, your dental implant can last between 10 and 20 years or even longer. It’s a long-term investment in oral health that can provide unmatched benefits.
